Titles and Credit Sequence Design
Sister Aimee, written and directed by Samantha Buck and Marie Schlingmann, premiered at the 2019 Sundance Film Festival and the 2019 South by Southwest Film Festival. Starring Anna Margaret Hollyman as Aimee Semple McPherson, it is a fictionalized account of McPherson's 1926 disappearance. I’ve loved every project I’ve been fortunate enough to work on with Samantha and Marie and this film was no exception. I developed their film poster as well as their titles. You can check out their title sequence below which I built from period newspapers of the real Sister Aimee to tell the true-life epilogue of the film.
