CBS - WATERGATE DOCUMENTARY

For the 50th anniversary of the Watergate break-in, CBS produced Watergate, High Crimes in the White House a prime time documentary looking back at this historic political scandal. My parents were married on the day of the break-in, so it was fun to work on a story that was a common topic of dinner table conversation growing up.
Working with their excellent creative team, I developed a full GFX package and built modular templates for their in-house designers to work from. I created an analog feel for all of the assets to ground the aesthetic in that time period. This included chromatic aberration, lighting flares, grain, and printed newspaper texture. The package included newspaper, photo, and document treatments, as well as all on-screen titles.
